ShopTheHouse.com Returns and Refunds Policy
All orders cancelled after order has been shipped are subject to a $10 administration/re-stocking fee. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges.
Even though we carry quality branded merchandise, we understand that sometimes merchandise ordered does not meet all your criteria. We will happily accept returned merchandise and issue a refund under the following policy:
- All returned merchandise must be returned in unused condition and in its original packaging.
- You must return merchandise to our location within 30 days of your purchase: All Through The House

- Include a note of why you are returning the merchandise and the original receipt.
- Refunds will be for price of merchandise returned plus applicable sales tax minus a $10 re-stocking fee.
- Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order once the merchandise has been received back at the store and inspected.
This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy SERIOUSLY and have taken all measures to protect your personal information. You can feel assured that our website is secure and meets or exceeds standard benchmarks.
What Information Do We Collect?

Your information is only used to fill your order. We do not sell or redistribute your information to ANYONE.

Only your order data, billing, shipping, and order contents data is stored on our server. This information is encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer before it is transmitted over a web server. We do not store your Credit Card data.

Cookies are small files that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you on your next visit or store your shopping cart contents. We use them only to track this information.

Order Confirmation/Out of Stock Items:
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. We will confirm that your selected products are in stock and available for immediate shipment.
We sincerely try to have our website reflect our active inventory. Unfortunately, because we are a brick-and-mortar operation, an in-store customer might just have picked up the last one. In this unfortunate episode, we will void the pre-authorization and notify you via email. Please feel free to contact us at 608.877.9403 during store hours to check current and future availability if you have questions or concerns.
If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 2 business days Monday-Friday), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
All orders are shipped within 2 business days of your order Monday – Friday between 10am – 6pm.
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to back out of the order if you should so choose.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should send photos to returns@SHOPTHEHOUSE.com and we will process an insurance claim with our shipping partner on your behalf.
